This kit contains:
1 x 100mm Sisal Buff
1 x 100mm Loose Leaf Calico Buff
Instructions for use:
- Select the correct buff for your job.
- Loose Leaf Calico – SS (White) Compound for aluminium,SSX (Light Green) Compound ideal use on copper, brass and stainless steel, Multishine (Light Blue) Compoundgreat for plastics and die-cast articles
- Sisal – Fastcut (Dark Grey) Compound to cut back light scratch marks on copper, brass and stainless steel prior to polishing
2. Dress the buff with compound across the face of the rotating wheel for a few seconds. Take care not to apply too much compound as this will overload the buff. It is better to apply a little compound more frequently than to overdress the buff.
3. Bring the work piece into contact with the buff and with light pressure, move back and forth across the job.
4. After polishing, remove any residue with hot water and household detergent.
WARNING: Run in forward direction only. Running drill in reverse will cause the buff to come loose. Not to be used on plastic coated, black, coloured or gun-metal finishes. This will cause damage to the surface.
